survivor shocker!

So yes, I still watch Survivor. It's one of the few reality shows that I still watch. And that said, I probably would not have watched this season if it weren't for the "favorites" coming back to battle the fans. I thought this season was one of the best - lots of twists and turns and devious behavior.

Then they crowned the winner... Parvati. WTF?

She played a good game but Amanda's was WAY better! I was SHOCKED, to say the least, when there were so many votes coming up for her... literally talking out loud to the TV!

It makes me wonder... does the editing of reality shows tell the real story? It seemed like Amanda was well liked, didn't make anyone mad, played a good clean game. Why would her castmates not vote for her? Can someone please tell me?

I felt the same way, how did she manage to win? Personally I couldn't stand Amanda or Parvati, but I would have chosen Amanda over Parvati.

I agree... there are other people on that show that I would have rather had win the whole thing, but in choosing between the two... it should have been Amanda. But you know it's kind of funny that Amanda ended up second place in both seasons. I don't feel too bad for her since she gets money in that position too! I think it's about $250K and that's pretty damn good.

Wasn't it such a great season??!! I felt like the game was really played the way that it was intended to be played this time. The girls really were fantastically devious. I just was grinning at from ear to ear at the TV so many times. So, the win was weird. But I think Amanda did have that 'glazed over' look most of the time, and when I heard her talk at the finale...seemed like a ditz. I just wish Cerie had won.
